TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Irena Amber-Freeman, trading as ‘The Behaviour Coach’ (‘The Behaviour Coach,’ ‘I,’ ‘me,’ ‘my’ or 'she'). By booking a session, you (‘the client,’ ‘you’) agree to the following terms in this document.


About the Coach

  • Irena Amber-Freeman is a Behaviour Coach and Systemic Practitioner

  • She provides coaching and support for children, young people, parents/guardians, and families, but does not provide medical, psychiatric, or legal services


Coaching Sessions

  • Sessions last 50 minutes and primarily held online via video call

  • If coaching involves a child, the initial session will usually be with parents/guardians only

  • Parents/guardians and/or siblings may be asked to attend future sessions as agreed in personalised plans

  • Home visits may be offered, with consent


Payment

  • Payment are online in advance


Rescheduled & Missed Sessions

Once a session has been booked, refunds are not available. I understand that plans can change, so sessions may be rescheduled under the following terms:

 

   • At least 24 hours’ notice must be given using the online booking system.

   • Sessions missed or changed with less than 24 hours’ notice may be counted as used under your plan, unless agreed otherwise in  exceptional circumstances.

   • All sessions must be taken within six months of the payment date.

   • In exceptional circumstances, The Behaviour Coach may cancel or reschedule a session. If this happens, you will be invited to rebook your session at no cost.

   • Where possible, clients will be notified of any change or cancellation as soon as reasonably practicable.


Confidentiality

  • All information shared in sessions is confidential

  • Feedback may be given to parents/guardians where appropriate

  • If I have any safeguarding concerns about a child or vulnerable adult, I will share relevant information with appropriate agencies and, where possible, with parents/guardians

  • Personal information will never be sold, traded, or shared with third parties


Limitations of Service

  • Coaching is supportive guidance, not a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice

  • The Behaviour Coach offers coaching only and does not prepare legal reports

  • Diagnoses can only be made by qualified medical professionals

  • Results cannot be guaranteed; Progress depends on your own actions and commitment


Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Information provided by The Behaviour Coach is general guidance, given in good faith and to the best of her ability

  • The Behaviour Coach accepts no liability for harm, injury, or other adverse outcomes during or following coaching

  • By engaging in coaching, you accept responsibility for your actions, release The Behaviour Coach from liability for loss, injury, or damage, and agree to indemnify her against related claims, including those made by third parties

  • If you are at risk of harm to yourself or others, you must seek immediate support from appropriate emergency, medical, or mental health services

  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability that cannot be legally excluded (e.g., fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence)


Right to Refuse Service

  • The Behaviour Coach may decline or discontinue services at her discretion
